Quit Drinking

I want to achieve daily clarity of mind and to be present in the reality of my everyday existence that is not possibly when in the haze of drinking and drugs.

Next actions:

  1. Call support centre tomorrow
  2. Avoid situations where I know I will be tempted to drink
  3. Be physically active: biking, yoga
  4. Try a kickboxing class
  5. Write my feelings out to help understand why this is a problem for me
  6. Try to view cravings and bouts of anxiety from with some perspective instead of indulging them and becoming lost in confused, contradictory feelings
  7. Find that "ocean"-view place on the bike path
  8. Baths, Self-Massage, Tea, Guided Meditation CD
  9. Good fiction is a much better escape than getting wasted
  10. Draw and Paint
